Jennifer Tiras is a confidant, partner, and resource for mothers everywhere. After graduating magna cum laude from University of Houston with a degree in Early Childhood Development, Jennifer was as prepared as anyone could be for motherhood—but she learned there is nothing that can truly brace you for the realities of being a parent.
For years, Jennifer Tiras would record her thoughts and observations for her own reference. The surprises, the wins, the struggles—everything made it in. Today, she shares these thoughts with mothers everywhere in her parenting book. Her stories and thoughts are designed to show women across the world that they are not alone. That they are good mothers even during the hard days—especially on the hard days. Though Jennifer Tiras’s writing and talks are informed by the language and research that her education brought her, she is not didactic. Jennifer is not trying to be the Martha Stewart of motherhood. Instead, she gives an honest look at what life is like for a modern mother and the best practices for raising responsible, empathetic, and independent children. She hopes that all mothers are able to gain something of value with her parenting book.
Jennifer and her husband live in Houston where they have raised their four boys.
